Pinpointing the Value of Water this World Water Day

March 22, 2021

World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe drinking water.

This World Water Day, we’re joining the Alliance for Water Stewardship and asking what does water mean to you? How is water important to your home and family life, your livelihood, your cultural practices, your peace of mind, your local environment? By pinpointing the different ways water benefits our lives, we can begin to value water properly and safeguard it effectively for everyone.

At Cress Consulting, we value access to clean water for health, hygiene, dignity and productivity and are working with many organisations to reduce the threats of increasing demands and the worsening impacts of climate change.

Our team joined the virtual 2021 #WorldWaterRun which brought 134 countries together to show our commitment to valuing water. Cress contributed with 83 km to the global goal of 40,075km equal to the circumference of the world. See more information of this initiative at www.worldwaterrun.com.
